As the saying goes, it takes a village – and what a village we have. The Friends of the Library recently hosted two fundraising events at the library and both were a resounding success. A big thank you to all of the individuals and businesses who donated trees for the Lighting of the Library, the many talented musical performers, and the passel of elves who helped get the library festively decorated and sparkling for our community to enjoy.
A week later, many donated delicious desserts to be auctioned for a LEAP (Library Expansion Addition Project) fundraiser – Winter Cheer, a gourmet appetizer dinner. A hearty thank you to Rebekah McCoy and Tom Heywood for their musical addition for that lovely event.
It’s always a joy to see how our community responds to the many fundraisers. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your continued giving.
