You wake up one morning, stumble into the bathroom, and flip the light switch. Nothing happens – no light. After your morning constitutional, you turn the faucet to splash a little water on your face – uh oh, no water. What is going on?

Your disaster is just starting. Walking into the living room, immediately you notice the TV and DVD player are missing. In the kitchen, the coffee pot, refrigerator, stove and microwave are nowhere in sight. “I’ve been robbed!” you holler.

Panicked, you rush through the laundry room toward the garage. “My God, the washer and dryer are gone.” You’re yelling for your wife to come see!

“What happened? Where is everything?”

Surely your super duty truck and your wife’s SUV are out in the garage. Nope! They’re gone, too!

Your wife says the computer and game player are missing. All the silverware is gone, even the glasses. “Call the police,” you bark, but both of your phones are also missing.

So what is going on here?

These are just a few things that would happen if a miner did not produce the minerals to make all of the missing convinces of modern living.

Modern mining is responsible mining. Have you thanked a miner today?
