Officials from the Rasmuson Foundation will visit Haines on Monday. The Chilkat Valley Community Foundation will host a public meet-and-greet session with the Rasmuson representatives from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Sheldon Museum.
The Anchorage-based Rasmuson Foundation has been a steady funds provider for the Haines organization, and there is a possibility the Rasmuson group could expand its commitments to Haines, said Crystal Badgley, co-chairwoman of the Chilkat foundation.
