Becky’s Place Haven of Hope (a local “safe house” in Haines) wanted to express our gratitude to all who came and supported our fundraiser on June 30. We had a great turnout with a lot of laughter, bidding, eating and joking. At the end of the evening, when all was tabulated from our salmon dinner, silent auction, dessert auction and donations, we made slightly over $10,000.
We lack the words to adequately express our thankfulness for your support, both in volunteering and coming to the event. For us, it means Becky’s Place will be able to sign a lease for another year, enabling us to help women, children and men who need assistance from abuse. Becky’s Place could not exist without you! You are an amazing community. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you.
