I find it interesting that our Mayor who referred to the community as the most “hateful and vindictive” she had ever seen during her lifetime chooses to turn down the call for a Code Revision Commission, instead tasking an overworked committee to do the job, basically saying “if they ever get a chance, they will do it.”
My observation is that that seems “vindictive and hateful.” So who is more vindictive, the community or the Mayor? Maybe our Mayor (who I voted for) should be part of the new leaf she suggested our community should turn over.
Our community does not have a chief but instead it has a Mayor. A Code Revision Commission is a perfectly reasonable way to solve this mess. If Mayor Hill believes otherwise, I suggest she make that part of her platform when she runs for re-election.
