The Chilkat Snowburners would like to thank all the volunteers that made the poker run happen Saturday. A very big thanks to the Uglys of Haines for providing the awesome grill and cooking for everyone. The Snowburners cannot thank you enough for your help. A special thanks to Dan Hanson, Dean Risley and Tim Banks of the Uglys for towing the grill and firewood to the starting point. Thanks to George Campbell for all his grooming work before and after the run. Thanks to Mike Dorris at Community Waste Solutions for once again providing the sanitation can and running our last checkpoint. Thanks to Jeff Wackerman for running the second checkpoint and Zack Jacobs for tending the first checkpoint along with the many hours of trail maintenance he provided. A big thanks to Sherri Maust and Andrea Ferrin for getting everyone signed up and on their way at the start of the run as well as tallying up the scorecards at the end. Thanks to Jack Smith Jr. and Zack Ferrin for getting the food prepared and hauling it out as well as all the logistical hurdles they overcame. Finally, a big thanks to everyone who showed up. I hope all involved had fun and hope to see you there at the next event.
