Musicians and residents with other talents have until Feb. 29 to register interest in the Northern Lights Showcase, the Haines Arts Council’s annual winter show.
“The show is a little more music-oriented, but it doesn’t have to be,” said Matt Whitman, co-president of the council, noting that previous acts have included comedy skits and readings by local authors.
The show will be limited to eight or nine acts, about 10 minutes each, Whitman said. To get on the list of prospective acts, contact Whitman at 303-0054.
The showcase will be held Sunday, March 20, in the Chilkat Center lobby.
