A person reported being involved in a physical altercation on Deishu Drive. Officers investigated and arrested a 21-year-old Haines man.

Sunday, Jan. 17

A caller reported someone he had just met was texting him rude messages. He was advised to call his phone company about blocking the calls.

A person reported receiving harassing phone calls from a woman. He said the woman and a friend appeared at his house intoxicated and woke him up. Police were advised.

A caller reported seeing a flashing light or fire across the Small Boat Harbor. Police investigated and found it was a reflection on a metal post.

A caller on Mathias Avenue reported hearing barking and a man’s voice in her basement early in the morning. However, her basement was locked and the locks were glued shut. Police were advised.

A person reported a motorist had been harassing him by flashing a bright light every time he drove by the caller’s Mud Bay Road residence. Police spoke with the caller.
