There is much to be grateful for in the New Year! Haines is a fine community and there’s plenty to do that’s fun without drugs and alcohol. One of the yearly events happened at the ANB/ANS Hall New Year’s Eve because of the work and support of the following: Howsers IGA, Olerud’s, Babbling Book, The Haines’s Uglys , Haines Alaska Native Sisterhood, Haines Police department, Scott Bader, Lee Heinmiller, Sonny Williams, Sue Folletti, Kathy Berzanske and her son Richard Berzanske, and myself.
