On behalf of the Haines Senior Center staff and all of the wonderful seniors that we serve, I would like to offer so much gratitude to all of the people that donate food to our meal program. This community support allows us to serve nutritious meals each week, and helps to make our lunches so popular! So far this summer, we have received over 100 pounds of locally caught salmon, and a bounty of locally grown lettuces, organic salad greens and fresh rhubarb. I would especially like to thank Adam Richard and Amelia Nash at the Fireweed, Scott Doddridge of Dejon Delights, Sally Boisvert of Four Winds Farm, Bob and Sally Lix, Diana and Jerry Pyle, Gary Graham, Cindy Buxton, Marge Ward, Margaret Piggott and Valerie McCandless.
