The 26th Annual Haines Volunteer Fire Department barbecue was a great success. Thanks goes out to those volunteers who prepped, cooked, sliced and wrapped 580 pounds of brisket, made 250 pounds of potato salad, cooked the 100 pounds of baked and spicy beans, buttered 45 loaves of garlic bread, mixed cole slaw, baked brownies, and made gallons of lemonade and iced tea.
