The Haines High School basketball teams play Thursday, March 5 at the Region V Basketball Tournament in Ketchikan.
Each squad is seeded fourth in Class 2A for Southeast. The Glacier Bear girls are set to face No. 1 Metlakatla at 6:30 p.m. The Haines boys will follow at 8:15 p.m. against top-seed Craig. The tournament continues through Saturday and will be carried by KHNS. The top two finishers in each division advance to state.
