Most humans find certain sounds to be extremely annoying, some to the point of causing rage. These sounds include fingernails on a chalkboard, the buzzing of a mosquito, the dripping from a leaky faucet, squeaky breaks on a bicycle, the landing and taking off of helicopters, etc. No matter the cost or results of a study, the human annoyance factor does not change. Save the borough’s time and taxpayers’ money by dropping the idea of a noise study up the highway.
