Big thanks are due to the Foundation for the Chilkat Center for the Arts member Kerry Cohen and crew for recent volunteer work at the dance studio at the Chilkat Center. The center’s designated space for movement classes is looking better than ever after a beautiful new paint job, trim work and floor restoration. Volunteer workers and other contributors included Debra Schnabel, Russ Lyman, Stan Mazeikas, Ed Hays, Mori Hays, Kai Hays, Gershon Cohen and Fred Shields, as well as Annette Smith for previous painting done in the dance studio and hallways. Community appreciation for this space is plain to see in the results of all the unpaid hours that went into these improvements. Many thanks!
