Angela Widell, 45, of Haines was convicted Jan. 4 of harassment for a Nov. 19 incident when she punched a woman multiple times in a Main Street bar.
Widell said she had been drunk and felt insulted by the way the woman looked at her and spoke to her.
Widell was sentenced to 90 days in jail, 85 days suspended. She was ordered to pay $100 in surcharges and was placed on one year’s probation.
