On behalf of the Young Eagle Scientists, I want to express my gratitude for the wonderful support we received from this community on the Fourth of July. First of all, the Haines Woman’s Club is generously donating the proceeds of their pie sale to help these students travel to present their eagle research next year. Next, Paysen and Sierra Clark, winners of the Rubber Ducky Race, donated back their prize money to help the students. For help with the race, thanks to Tom McGuire, Korey and Gina Comstock, Jessie Contreras, Brad Ryan, Meredith Pochardt, and, of course, the fabulous Young Eagle Scientists team.
