Chilkat Valley Preschool would like to thank the Chilkat Valley Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Alaska Community Foundation, for their funding of the preschool music and movement program. The grant made it possible for us to continue and improve our program that encourages movement and musical involvement to strengthen children’s educational, physical and emotional development. The sensory integration that the program provides is a crucial factor in children’s learning readiness for school subjects such as reading, writing and math. Thank you, CVCF, for helping support the well-being of our future Glacier Bears.
