Department of Transportation workers Chris Hickock, Colin Ayers and Alex Guthrie blast a water jet into a storm sewer at Second Avenue and Main Street Tuesday, while using a giant vacuum to suck out debris. The crew, using the leased machine, travels around the state each summer with the device. The machine’s first visit here will continue for two weeks, the workers said.
