“Tykes and Trikes,” a program for parents and toddlers,will resume Wednesday morning sessions at the elementary school gym from 9:30-11 a.m. Sept. 4.
Parents with children who are infants to kindergarten-age are welcomes. The goal of the group is to provide physical activities indoors for young families in Haines. Parents network and help each other, and children learn to socialize with peers, said organizer Diane Sly. Snacks and song time are featured.
The program is sponsored by Parents as Teachers, The Reading Foundation and The Infant Learning Program sponsor the weekly sessions.
