Practice for the Haines High School cross-country team begins Aug. 5.

Tara Bicknell has been hired as coach of the men’s and women’s teams. Bicknell, a former marathon runner, was a high school cross-country runner who also ran on the University of Texas women’s cross-country and marathon teams.
