The Sheldon Museum will kick off its annual Six Week Spotlight Series April 19 with an exhibit by local photographer and digital artist Bill McRoberts.

McRoberts’ photographic collages and displays have appeared around town at the bank and eagle foundation, museum director Jerrie Clarke said. Much of his work involves images of bears and eagles.

The Spotlight Series highlights a different artist ever six weeks from April through summer.

“Tourists love it,” Clarke said. “We want to show the visitors to our community the great wealth of art we have and we want to give our artists the chance to design and hang their own exhibit.”

McRoberts’ series ends June 7. Local artists Donna Catotti and Tim Shields will follow.
