I had an accident Thursday, March 14, at Mile 32 of the Haines Highway when my car hit a patch of ice and I ended up overturned.

Within five minutes, along came a pickup with two young men who were kind enough to take me to the 33 Mile Roadhouse.

I was provided a lot of help and support in this matter. I encountered more help with the removal and towing of the vehicle to a safe area at the Roadhouse. I had access to the phone which helped very much so that I could call the police and folks at home. My only regret is not getting the names of all involved, but they know. The spirit of the North is alive and well in the City of Haines.

  Thanks so much.
