Thank you and the CVN staff for gathering stories from 2012 and putting together the Year in Review article in the Dec. 20 edition. For me it did a wonderful job of capturing many significant events of life in Haines. While I don’t always agree with what I read in the paper, and sometimes wish it took a different slant on issues, I feel it does a great service for the community tracking the day to day, ups and downs, contentious and harmonious, joyful and sorrowful events of this beautiful place we live. The Year in Review will go in my “save for reference” folder as a reminder of all things I would have forgotten on our last trip around the sun.
