It is always a bummer to toot a dismal horn but better to bring the awareness to the people. The cruise ship industry needs to buy the electrical power to sustain their energy needs from the port, instead of running their own diesel generators. The trees are dying at timberline already and we need to simply have the cruise industry buy the clean power that is available locally.
What are the cruise people going to say? “You are all under arrest and are heading for Barbados?” No, the industry will say, “Okay, we will buy your good, clean energy.”
