As a representative of both KHNS and the Chilkat Center for the Arts, and on behalf of all of us who use this building regularly, I would like to thank the Haines Borough for the recent work at the Chilkat Center. The boilers are keeping us toasty warm and the new roof is a huge gift. Taken together, they make the difference between cozy and arctic, a huge improvement all the way around and just in time for all the great productions coming up in the theater this year. A big appreciative shout out also to the guys on the ground who did a great job: Brian Lemcke, Stickler Construction, and Pacific Rim and Carlos Jimenez.
