Just a reminder to the community that recycling is processing used material (waste) into new products. Haines Friends of Recycling (HFR) makes certain that all items collected are exported to companies that truly recycle. No recyclables are sent to a landfill. Recycling is free at the HFR Small Tracts Recycle Center, though membership and donations are encouraged. HFR encourages responsible stewardship of our natural resources.
