We would like to thank Keely and Jordan Baumgardner and those of you who helped them put on the medical fundraiser for Frederick Chambers-Piper at the Pioneer Bar on July 24. We heard everyone had a great time! Also to the musicians who donated their time and everyone who showed up. To the Chilkoot Indian Asssociation for putting on the 50/50 raffle and everyone who bought tickets. Georgie Hotch, you are the best! Elaine Chambers from Champagne, Yukon won the raffle. Some friends and family who were very helpful are the Goenetts, Sharon Resnick, Craig Hagwood, Wayne Chambers, JoAnn Price, Tim McCormick, Mike Ward and all of you from the Yukon. (Too many to name.) We would like to send a special thank you to Denise Beattie, Pat and Barbara Murphy, Dara Ottness and Wesley Stearns, we appreciate everything you did to help us so much! (This may be late for some of you but we wanted to wait until after the raffle.) We are so happy to say as of Sept. 27 Frederick is cancer free! He is doing great and happy to be back at work.
