Go out to the Jones Point Cemetery to appreciate all the work that has been done. We thank all who grabbed a rake and bag to help, especially the History Day participants and their parents. The middle schoolers will represent Alaska in Washington, D.C. this summer in the History Day competition.
The American Legion will hold a Memorial Day ceremony at Jones Point Cemetery at 11 a.m. Monday, May 28 to honor those who have served and gone before us. A Memorial Day ceremony at the Klukwan Veterans’ Memorial will be at 1 p.m.
