If there is anyone out there that has not heard of the services that Southeast Alaska Independent Living (SAIL) has to offer, you need to go check them out! My mother has had to be on oxygen for the last few years and travel to the doctors in Juneau and Anchorage has been very problematic because we didn’t have an airline approved portable oxygen concentrator. So we contacted SAIL and they really came through for us. Within a month they got a grant and secured my mom a portable concentrator. We would like to personally thank Vanessa Salmon for all her hard work in making this happen for us. She went above and beyond in her search for a concentrator.
