A caller at 26 Mile reported someone burning plastic near their residence. They called back to say they were mistaken.

An officer chased off a bear that a Deishu Drive caller reported at their residence several times during the night.
An officer was advised of a bad smell coming from a Deishu Drive residence.
A caller reported seeing a bear walking in an alley at Fourth and Union.
Thursday, Aug. 12
An officer responded to a call about a bear in a Deishu Drive backyard.
An officer ticketed a car parked without a permit at Port Chilkoot Dock.
A caller said a bear had gotten into trash at the Senior Center the previous night.
A caller reported a boat trailer with no lights near Deishu Drive. An officer didn’t find the vehicle.

A caller reported seeing a bear while walking home on Piedad Road.
A caller reported a film crew standing on their vehicle to film inside the state trooper’s office. Troopers were advised.
The fire department responded to a call that a bush was on fire near a Lutak Road private campground.
