The Haines Animal Rescue Kennel has recently added pet care services including vaccinations, broad-spectrum wormer and flea, tick and lice treatments.
“These services will help keep our pet population safe from deadly diseases as well as irritating parasites,” said Steve Vick, HARK executive director. “HARK encourages all pet owners to stay current with vaccines and parasite control. The stronger and healthier our pet population, the more resilient it is to the introduction of outside diseases.”
A list of vaccinations is on the HARK website, http://www.harkalaska.org, which notes the kennel does not offer vaccinations for rabies, because a veterinarian must administer them.
