The Haines Cub Scouts would like to thank Cheryl McRoberts and the American Bald Eagle Foundation for letting the Scouts tour the facility on Saturday. We would also like to thank Bob Lix and everyone at the American Legion for providing the space so our Scouts could carve their pumpkins. We had an awesome time. Also, I want to thank everyone that supported the Scouts by purchasing popcorn. The money we raise from popcorn allows our Scouts to go to summer camp in Juneau. Popcorn will be in by Nov. 15. Also, the American Legion is having a 50-50 raffle, half the proceeds of which will go toward Scout uniforms and handbooks. The drawing is on Veterans’ Day. Thank you all for your support.
