Takshanuk Watershed Council is encouraging residents to participate in International Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, Sept. 17.
The Haines cleanup will run 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Volunteers will meet at the Takshanuk Watershed Council parking lot, across from the bank, and be assigned a location.
