A person reported a vehicle tore up an acre of land on Mud Bay Road by driving circles on it. Troopers advised.

Friday, Nov. 19

A caller reported someone smashed their vehicle window out during the night at a downtown apartment. Officer responded.

A caller reported receiving multiple hang-ups on a daily basis. Officer advised.

A caller reported smoke visible at 2 Mile Haines Highway. Firemen responded. A resident had started a controlled burn without calling it in, and was given a warning.

A caller reported a potential altercation in the Mosquito Lake area. Troopers were advised.

A caller reported being assaulted at a downtown tavern around 10:30 p.m. Officers responded and arrested one individual, who was charged with misdemeanor assault. Witnesses reported that the alleged assault was unprovoked.

Sunday, Nov. 21

A caller reported suspicious circumstances when they witnessed a vehicle drive onto an off-road path south of town where there had been thefts. An officer responded and determined there was no illegal activity.

There were 22 medical calls and two calls about dogs.
