My dog was hit by a car on Monday morning, June 27th, between 8 and 10 a.m. at 3 Mile Haines Highway. She broke her chain and came home limping with the chain still attached. She is mostly white, one black ear and two black spots on her back. I cannot express to drivers enough to not speed that 3 Mile stretch. We have lost three dogs over the years from speeders. I also feel whoever hit her should have respectfully checked her and reported the hit. Our dogs are family and we depend on them to protect us as we do them. She may have internal injuries and without a vet here, I may be having medical costs incurred for this. That stretch is not a speedway.
