A very big thank you goes out to all those who have supported the high school activities this year. We could not have been so successful without you, the community, parents and staff, who helped house, coach, tutor and travel with our students. With over 80 percent of our students participating in a sport or activity, we have a pretty amazing student population. Success came in all forms this year; from winning the sportsmanship award for volleyball, basketball and drama, debate and forensics, to the cheer team taking first at state. We had 25 students qualify for the state track and field meet and sent various others to state competition for music, cross-country and wrestling. Thank you for supporting Haines High School Activities. School starts again in August and we will be hosting a cross-country meet and volleyball games on Sept. 9. Hope to see you there!
