The Haines Borough Assembly has scheduled meetings and public hearings for passing the fiscal year 2012 budget.
The assembly will meet as a committee 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, at the Haines Borough Public Library. Discussion topics include budget introduction, general fund overview, revenues, fund balances, economic trends, allocations, the Haines Borough School District, library, Sheldon Museum and Cultural Center, Community Youth Development and swimming pool.
