Nearly 50 people braved the real winter weather to enjoy a biathlon on Saturday, although paint ball guns didn’t do well in the low temperatures. It was nice to see more than a dozen youths break away from their favorite screens to participate outdoors and warm up with hot chocolate and chili. A big thank you to park ranger Preston Kroes for setting a new ski track in Chilkoot state park.
