Two years ago, many residents at 26 Mile signed a petition stating that we don’t want a heliport in our neighborhood. SEABA, you followed with a commentary stating you would let the idea go because the majority of residents didn’t want it. Now, here we go again! A new petition is in the works. Nick Trimble says that if we really don’t want a heliport, they won’t pursue it. So, save us all a lot of trouble: We don’t want a heliport! Not now, not next year, not in ten years! Nothing has changed in two years. The reasons are all the same. We even have some new reasons. Your approach to this issue is sneaky and underhanded. Your supporters are mostly seasonal guides who don’t live here. It would show good character to respect the wishes of the community at 26 Mile.  Again, SEABA, not in my backyard!
