I’d like to express appreciation for community support during my recent
injury. Friends helped in many ways, with cards, good wishes, tasty treats, e-mail contacts and calls. Thanks to my neighbors for helping in so many ways. Thanks to Don and Dottie Poling for mail pick-up and forwarding. Thanks also to Carol Mitchell for pet care and frequent updates. Thanks to Kathy Klinger for finishing my Iditarod swim. Big thanks to our ambulance team for another outstanding job – and Pastor Ron Horn and many prayers within a great church family. We share a community of people helping people and it shows. I got to see Cordova and its friendly community during rehab. It’s a wonderful community, but don’t break a leg to get there.
