We want to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to the SEARHC clinic staff and Haines ambulance crew. Also a big thank you to Dr. Wood and her crew on the Coast Guard chopper who got me safely to the Guardian jet in Juneau last Tuesday during that terrible storm. Your compassion and expertise defy words. Lastly to the Haines Woman’s Club who make the wonderful hats, you have no idea how much I appreciated keeping my bald head warm, especially since my own things never did catch up with me. We are so blessed and fortunate to live in such a caring community.
