Thank you to all of the volunteers who made our scrap metal collection a huge success and to the community who brought in so much to recycle. Haines Friends of Recycling will sponsor another scrap metal drive in the early fall. Please don’t bring any more metal to us before then because of our storage problems. A very special thanks to Frank Holmes for organizing the event.
Watch for upcoming HFR events, including composting at the bike race dinner June 19 and our e-waste collection on June 25 and 26. We can always use volunteers!
