Juneau legislators and hospice advocates are warning that federal health care cuts could put more pressure on Southeast Alaska’s health care hub.
Sen. Jesse Kiehl, D-Juneau, Rep. Sara Hannan, D-Juneau, and Roman Motyka, a hospice volunteer and Juneau Foundation for End of Life board member, on Oct. 14 joined the advocacy group Protect Our Care Alaska to discuss what last year’s enacted health care cuts could mean for Juneau and communities throughout northern Southeast Alaska.
