This is the theme being repeated this month as the Alaska Division of Family and Youth Services and Tlingit-Haida Central Council and the Alaska Foster Parents Association recruits for foster homes.
In Southeast, 136 families care for 247 children from Yakutat to Metlakatla. Children are placed in the care of the Division of Family and Youth Services by the courts and the division reports that more homes are needed.
