By Election Day 2024, the borough was in chaos:  many staff had resigned due in part to an assembly-caused poor work environment; our vetted, contracted and funded Lutak freight dock repair was in shambles with a pending lawsuit by the contractor; another contractor had filed a lawsuit; and the list goes on. The current assembly, including the two incumbent candidates Gabe Thomas and Richard Clement,  has brought administrative stability; ended lawsuits; been working to move the dock project forward; and is creatively working to fill the budget gap caused by no fault of their own. Let’s not lose this momentum.  Vote Thomas and Clement if you want stability in our community.  

We do not want to return to the chaos of 2024.
