Next week the Valley of the Eagles Golf Links will be hosting a tournament to raise money for the Uglys of Haines’ community cancer fund. The Uglys usually raise money for the cancer fund in May but members canceled the event for the past two years because of pandemic concerns.
The fund provides $1,000 grants to residents who need to travel to Juneau for cancer treatment.
