Voters rejected bonding for a $1.8 million roof replacement for the Haines School, but the borough will go ahead with a $60,000 repair project funded with state money.
Borough facilities director Carlos Jimenez said he would put together bid documents aimed at addressing deficiencies in the school roof, which leaks in both the building’s gymnasiums and in the high school open area. The project will go to bid in the spring, he said.
