Police arrested a 61-year-old Haines woman last week for attempting to possess heroin and the possession of methamphetamine—both misdemeanor charges.
The Alaska State Troopers executed a search warrant Sep. 5 on a package, addressed to the woman, at the Harris Air terminal at the Juneau International Airport. Troopers seized one gram of heroin from the package and notified Haines law enforcement of its delivery, according to the probable cause statement.
