Ruth Hamilton Heese of Masonville, Colorado, born Nov. 8, 1962, died Aug. 10, 2026, in Denver, Colorado, after a prolonged illness.
Ruth grew up in Omaha, Neb., and moved to Haines during her junior year of high school. She graduated in 1981. In Haines, she lived with her aunt and uncle, Betty and Don Holgate, on Mud Bay Road, where she helped with their commercial fishing business.
