As students poured into school Tuesday morning in Haines, familiar faces and some new ones greeted them.
Rachelle Galinski and Sarah Elliott are student-teaching from August until December. Elliott is working at the district under an emergency teaching license, while Galinski will be a long-term substitute teacher until she receives her certification in December. After that, she will transition to a full-time teaching role.
